Marvel Announces Thomas the Tank Engine will replace Peter Parker in the MCU

After Sony recently came to the horrible decision to pull out of their deal with Marvel, fans were wondering what this meant for the future of the MCU.

Marvel put tensions to ease when they announced that they would fill Spider-Man’s place with Thomas the Tank Engine.

“Though we are sad to say goodbye to our Friendly-Neighborhood Spider-Man, we are pleased to introduce you to his replacement: Thomas the Tank Engine!” Kevin Feige announced at a press conference. “We know that fans will love what Thomas brings to the table, and we know he’s very excited to share the Universe with so many beloved characters!”

One reporter inquired about what would be done about the revenue that would be shared between Sony and Marvel from existing Marvel movies with Spider-Man in them. Luckily, there was already a plan to fix this!

“We’ll be editing Tom Holland out of every scene he was in in Endgame, Infinity War and Civil War, and editing Thomas along with some rails in his place.” Feige explained. “In fact, we’re already working on a new scene where Tony Stark goes to Sodor to recruit Thomas instead of Spidey!”

Fans were in love with the idea of Thomas joining the MCU, and even Thomas was ecstatic!

“My driver loves the Marvel movies, and I’m glad to be able to join the crew!” Thomas told Thomas Facts today. “They’ll mostly be using CGI since I can’t leave Sodor a whole lot, but I’m sure they’ll do me justice!”

We don’t know what else Marvel Studios plans to do with Thomas, but we bet that whatever they do will make fans happy!
