For years, people have used Wilbert Awdry and Britt Allcrofts’ opinions about Thomas & Friends to ridicule my favorite show, Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go. They will constantly say things like,
“Awdry wanted his stories to be realistic, so All Engines Go is an insult to his memory.”
Or
“Britt Allcroft said All Engines Go isn’t what she wanted for the franchise.”
These people should be ashamed for caring about artistic integrity and respecting the dead. Everyone should have to cater their opinions to ME and ME ALONE!!!
I think All Engines Go is a cinematic masterpiece, and if you think I care about some dead people, you’re dead wrong. They were old anyways. I. Hate. The. Elderly.
Why should we care if an adaptation of a classic character is faithful and represents the core aspects of the original stories? I just watch everything that’s put in front of me regardless of quality, so why does everyone else care so much?
It is truly sad that people in this world don’t care about me more than their personal heroes and friends. I demand respect.

FINALLY someone says it. Britt’s feelings on the show she created didn’t matter when she was alive, and they DEFINITELY don’t matter when they’re being relayed by a personal friend now that she can’t speak up anymore
