Stepney has been waiting in his shed for years just hoping to get back to work. However, he has recently become more worried about his chances of ever getting on the rails again after a group of people dressed as the Avengers paid him a visit.
“I was expecting them to get me back on the line in a few years after crowdfunding my repairs or something.” Stepney said. “But when Captain America told me what a ‘brave boy’ I was, all I could think was ‘Oh, shit.’”
Stepney’s friends and fans from all over the world have been hopeful he will return to steam someday.
“Yeah, He’s done for lmao.” Bluebell Railway director, Belle Bleu, expressed. “We just don’t want to tell him because we don’t want to hurt him.”
Fans who wish to say goodbye tell Stepney to “get well soon” are able to visit him from 10 am to 4 pm at Sheffield Park Station whenever trains are scheduled.
