Ruth Buys Sodor Construction Company; Becomes Founder

In a surprise announcement during the 2022 Sodor Technology Fair at Ulfstead, Ruth the Inventor announced her purchase of the Sodor Construction Company.

She then gave herself the title of “Founder and CEO” and fired Jenny Packard.

“I didn’t want to give her my company. The Pack is like family to me.” Miss Packard explained. “But Ruth bought out all the investors and forced us into a buyout.”

In her first move as CEO, Ruth bought a new fleet of construction vehicles and sent all of the old equipment to be scrapped.

Critics have deemed this an anti-union move by Ruth, but there is absolutely no proof of this.

“Yeah, she fired us because we said we’d strike.” Jack the Front Loader stated. “We told her if we couldn’t work with Miss Jenny, we weren’t working at all. I’d like to think we made our mother proud.”

Ruth continued her presentation to reveal the next big project for the Sodor Construction Company; A Tunnel from Tidmouth to Ffarquhar which only runs ten “Road Engines” produced by the other company she founded, Cleo Inc.

  1. Now that you brought it up, building a “road engine” that’s just a different looking car seems like the thing that the new founder of Twatter would do.
