Rudolph Johnson (also known by his YouTube username, BillFan20) was arrested Saturday night after security footage supposedly showed him using explosives to destroy the door of a local hobby store.
Bajookieland Hobby and Model was looted of all products related to Thomas the Tank Engine following the explosion. The structural damage of the strip mall the store was located was also left severely damaged.
“I swear, it was just my evil doppelgänger, Dark Rudy.” Johnson testified. “He’s always trying to steal my collection! He’s framing me so he can steal it while I’m in prison.”
Security footage showed Johnson wearing a cartoonishly large and curly mustache and monocle. Police believe this was an attempt to hide his identity despite Johnson’s insistence that this was a different person.
“The police need to listen to Rudy.” One of Johnson’s fellow YouTubers, Matt Nickson, explained. “It sounds crazy, but all Thomas reviewers actually do have identical twins who always cause trouble and try to steal their stuff.”
Police have yet to recover the stolen Thomas Merchandise or the fake mustache used by Johnson. Those with information regarding their whereabouts are encouraged to come forward.
