Thomas refused to have his Snowplow put on this morning. A group of trainspotters and passengers nearby watched as he explained that he didn’t believe in snow.
“Snow is an elaborate hoax created by Sir Topham Hatt to get us to wear Snowploughs.” He shouted as loud as he could to everyone waiting at Ffarquhar station. “We live in a Free Island! It’s my right to not wear my Snowplogh!”
The onlookers sighed and waited for their train to be ready. Percy eventually had to take Annie and Clarabel while Thomas was delegated to yard work.
“Without a snowplow, Thomas could get stuck in a snow drift.” Said Sir Topham Hatt, explaining why he was oppressing Thomas. “We can’t just strand our passengers in the middle of the line because our engines don’t like to wear their plows.”
Thomas had no comment after he was assigned to shunting the yard.
