For years, Thomas fans have complained about how Dayton Manor is “ruining” the Thomas and Friends props by constantly running them in a building with little climate control. While this may seem bad at first, it is objectively good for the models so stop whining!
Thomas and Friends is a beloved show, and there are millions of people who would like to see the original models in pristine condition. Not everyone can see the models owned by people who are responsible and look after them with care and respect, however, so the next best option is to let people who are completely irresponsible take care of the models as long as they are open to the public 24/7. Sure, the models will deteriorate and break until there’s nothing left for future generations to see, but who cares about our kids? All we should care about now is a bunch a random people from the UK being able to go to a theme park and watch models they don’t care about run around a loop.
Some of the people who responsibly take care of props live in the USA. What’s up with that? These props should stay in the UK where they were made, even if it damages them to be there. Americans suck (evidence: they voted for Trump to be their president) and don’t deserve to have the props. I’m not a nationalist, it’s just the truth.
Duck and Daisy are bland boring fan-service characters anyway, so who cares if Drayton kills them next? Everyone knows Britain Alcroft and David Mittens invented Duck and Daisy to be fan-service, so we should be against the preservation of their props. It’s a good thing Drayton Manor is going to run these brittle, plastic models in the sun all day until their motors catch fire, because I hate them.
Sure, you might think it would be better to preserve these models for future generations to appreciate, but when we consider all the benefits from destroying these models, I think we can all agree that we shouldn’t care about preservation!
I think you haven offended me. It’s because you said Americans suck and the models would be in better hands of the brits. Well sir, fuck you, and I could take care of those models better than anyone. You don’t know anything about Americans. I DO. Us Thomas fans have made better content than most brits. Examples: EE93’s Enterprising Engines, Sudrian Conflict, and Tobias and the Half Pariah. I’m not saying all brits are bad, but you sir have offended me and most noted some of the other American fans.

Britt Alcroft and David Mitton didn’t create Duck and Daisy, Awdry did. This entire article is terribly written.

Ur opinion is wrong, it’s daisy’s first model, and only model, people would like to preserve them in their prestige condition, but you are not a real fan if seeing THE original prop getting torn to shreds breaks your heart. the brass models, no one cares, plexiglass models, everyone cares. Also I found this irrelevant website by accident, and it looks like a 14 year old made it using wix and not knowing anything about how much the props are worth, which is from $5,000 to $34,000.

I seriously wonder if you even know the actual history of the show, WHO ACTUALLY created the characters, and what these models mean to people. These aren’t just some Bachmann or Hornby trains going round and round on a loop. These are THE models that people grew up with on their TV screens. And to see how Drayton Manor is treating the models of so many peoples childhood with such carelessness. Also, as an American myself, yes, most of us are quite stupid, but so is every other country. There’s always the stupid ones. But, quite frankly, It would be safe to say that soooo many people from the Thomas fandom who live in the US would take good care of the props. Take,
By the way this is about as unresearched as the “Top ten scary Thomas theories” video

Fuck this, fuck you
also why the fuck does it matter to you what happens to the models, as you clearly don’t respect the universe as a whole?
