Kindergartener, Greg McEvans was reported telling his classmates, “I’m going to be Thomas the Tank Engine for Halloween!” In a presentation. However, when he showed up at the school’s Fall Festival in costume, he was actually wearing a driver’s uniform with a Large Cardboard Thomas on top of it.
“I can’t believe Greg is so stupid,” said Greg’s best friend in the whole wide world, Geoff. “How much of an idiot do you have to be to think that is a costume of Thomas when he’s very clearly in Thomas’ cab?”
Greg’s classmates and teacher were all shocked at his idiocy, and warned the staff running the booths at the festival to not award Greg any prizes, as he was a moron who didn’t deserve them.
“I can’t believe Gregory could’ve said something as stupid as that to his classmates.” His mother explained in shock. “I told him very directly that he was going to be dressed as Thomas’ driver, as a Thomas costume would just look creepy.”
Other parents at the festival who heard the rumor started to feel concerned about the education of their children, and spoke to the principal about their concerns.
“I’d like to let everyone know we’re going to do our best to rectify this problem.” Mr. Gonzalez said. “I will be discussing the matter with his parents and teacher, and will consider remedial classes. If those classes don’t help him realize he’s dressed as Thomas’ Driver, we’ll have to hold him back a year.”
