The popular Thomas YouTuber announced Yesterday that he would not be uploading any more more normal reviews, discussions, or series, but instead only upload Redux of his Sir Handel Review. This decision was met with criticism by some but Turtles was convinced that this was the direction to go with his channel.
“The first Sir Handel Review is one of my more popular uploads. It’s even more popular than the Grand Finale of Sudrian Conflict.” andthomas explained. “If I play my cards correctly, I may end up surpassing the likes of T-Series.”
Thomas Wooden SIR HANDEL Review currently has over 15 thousand views, while Thomas Wooden SIR HANDEL Review Redux and TWR Sir Handel Review Redux (Redux) sit at over 6,000 and 4,000 reviews respectively. Despite these amounts of views, fans of Turtles’ work have been upset by the news that these videos will take up a majority of his channel from now on.
“What made the first two Redux work was that they were unexpected.” Said YouTube commenter, CarsFan69. “Now that we know what to expect, it’s not going to be the same.”
Turtles’ started to lose subscribers as people decided that his videos weren’t for them anymore. Many cited this formula and format change as their reason for leaving him in the dust.
“There’s been a lack of Wooden Railway videos recently, and a lot of my favorite content creators aren’t even making Wooden Railway review videos anymore.” a Twitter user who wished to remain anonymous stated. “When Turtles revealed he was back from College, I was so excited for what might happen, but this news was very disappointing.”
Although many Thomas YouTubers have kept their channels going for quite a long time, others have either left or moved onto other types of content.
“We’ve lost Leo, MPS has been privatizing his old videos, and now Turtles is gone too.” DukeDuckGWR sadly said. “I just wish some of these guys kept it up and stood the test of time.”
