Thomas Wiki Officially Takes Stance on 9/11

For years, Thomas Fans have debated whether or not 9/11 happened within the Television Series canon of Thomas and Friends. The Thomas Wiki disallowed any information about 9/11 to be added to the United States page as the topic was too controversial and would be left alone until solid evidence came out.

To understand where the argument begins, people suggest that since New York has been mentioned and shown in Thomas and Friends, 9/11 had to have happened there, as it did in real life. But some fans don’t consider this substantial evidence, as the TV Series canon is much less realistic than the Railway Series. In fact, since the TV Series is canonically a TV Show in the Railway Series, the writers can do pretty much anything and simply explain it away as non-canon.

Not only do fans say that 9/11 may not have happened in the TV Series, they also say it might not have happened YET in the TV canon.

Since the TV Series hardly shows dates, it’s shaky as to when it occurs. Some engines are based on engines from the 2000’s, but there are no computers, cordless phones, or modern technology shown in the series, so it’s hard to pinpoint any specific date. The series could essentially take place anytime before 2019.

But still, fans think it would be an insult to not have 9/11 be canon to the television series, as it was a big part of shaping the country’s patriotism and political climate. It could even be seen as an insult to all those who died for the event to not take place in the universe of the Television series.

As a result of the heated debate surrounding this topic, the Thomas The Tank Engine Wiki Staff have never made an official statement on the matter, and instead ban anyone who adds 9/11 related material to the wiki.

Until now, that is.

As of Yesterday, the TTTE Wiki staff made an official announcement on the matter.

“We believe it’s time to finally put the arguments to rest, and explain what we truly think is canon to the Thomas and Friends Television Series Universe.” The Post reads. “9/11, as it exists within the context of Thomas, was all a set up by the Government.”

The post went on to detail all the evidence that pointed to the Thomas and Friends Canonical 9/11 being an inside job.

“Although jet fuel in our universe can melt Steel Beams, Jeremy the Jet from Thomas and Friends has given us no evidence that the fuel he uses could be used to melt steel beams.” They explained. “We believe George Bush, or whoever was President at the time in Thomas’ universe, had the Towers destroyed in order to convince the nation to give up their freedom.”

With this new revelation being added to the table, Thomas Fans everywhere took to the Internet to find more sources on how the Government was able to do such a monumental cover up so they could get those sweet, sweet Wikia Badges.

“I found an awesome show called InfoWars!” Said Edd Fred, a wikia user, “The host, Alex Jones, knows a lot about this type of thing. I just listen to the crazy stuff he says and add it to the 9/11 section of the United States page on the Thomas Wiki.”

With the release of the Announcement, many wikia users started to wonder which controversial topics they would find definitive answers to next. Some were hoping they’d finally determine if the Holocaust happened in Thomas and Friends.

“We cant say anything yet,” An Admin Answered, “but let’s just say, you Geng-guess what we’re researching now!”
