In a recent statement made by Sodor Roadways Ltd. it was announced that Bertie the Bus would be fired over his controversial Tweets.
“When we discovered what Bertie was posting on Twitter, we were shocked and horrified,” said CEO, Bob Usher Samuel, “We have made the decision to permanently suspend him from operating under our company name.”
Bertie’s colleagues were not sympathetic.
“We all saw it coming.” Algy the Bus explained with a sigh, “He would always tell us about his Twitter and all the weird and disgusting stuff he posted. I’m honestly surprised it took the Manager so long to find out about this stuff.”
Bertie’s tweets showed a history of cyber bullying, especially towards Algy and Bulgy.
“I’m glad this is happening.” Bulgy stated. “I was subjected to so much abuse by him, and frankly, I no longer have any sympathy towards him.”
Though his colleagues turned a blind eye to the now homeless bus, his friends on the Northwestern Railway decided to help him in his time of need.
“I’m going to miss racing with him.” Thomas the Tank Engine commented. “We’re letting him stay at the Ffarquhar sheds for the time being, but all we can really do is chat before and after work.”
We reached out to Bertie, and only got a response from an anonymous troll claiming to be his manager. It is unknown how Bertie was able to get internet access without hands
They should check S.C.Ruffey’s Facebook account. He really dislikes Oliver now and he’s acting a bit ”racist” towards GWR engines now.
