A few weeks ago, I watced Avengers: Endgame. By all means, this movie should NOT have been bad. Everything was set to make the perfect, but it fell short because of how they executed it.
Let’s address the Elephant in the Room: There were no trains in this film.Let me repeat: There were NO TRAINS in this film. There were points where they could’ve easily had trains in the film, yet they didn’t have them.
For example, there was a scene where Hulk and Rocket Raccoon go to New Asgard to pick up Thor, and they take a truck. Why would they take a truck when they could easily take a train? Furthermore, when Howard Stark leaves his son in the 1970’s segment, therefore symbolizing the depart to the afterlife, he departs in a car instead of a train.
The forced automobile representation in this movie frustrated me beyond belief, and upset me to my core. Trains are the form of transportation that is most discriminated against in this day and age, and this movie proves that.
This movie isn’t without worth though, it had many great scenes, like every scene with Spider-Man and the segment where the female Avengers team up as a reference to A-Force. I thank the Russo brothers for trying to make this disaster of a film at least acceptable because of those bits of fan service, because as we all know: Fan Service = Quality
Or that scene where they went to Thanos’ planet. They used a spaceship to go to a different planet. A SPACESHIP! It’s ridiculous! Harold the helicopter is the logical choice, yet they used a spaceship.
